Muslims around the world celebrate Eid-Ul Fitr on 30-31 August this month, and for devotees in Malaysia. the occasion will be extra special as the country's National Day falls on 31st August. This twin festival is affectionately termed Raya Merdeka, a combination of Hari Merdeka (Independence Day) and Hari Raya (Eid)
